FUCK that.
They told you to pick something practical.
Be responsible.
Be reasonable.
Stop being so dramatic.
So you did what Gen X women do exceptionally and unapologetically well.
You figured it out.
But the cost….
Burying HER.
You built the career.
Built the business.
Built the family.
Built the reputation.
Built the life everyone told you would mean you’d made it.
And somewhere inside all that competence, they convinced you that the raw, loud, strange, sensual, creative parts of you couldn’t exist THERE.
But she DOES.
They’d tell you over and over again…
So you’d bite your tongue
and just made her quieter.
Suffocating the thing that makes you, YOU.
Listen darling,
I’m not interested in photographing the version
of you that learned how to behave.
I want the woman underneath her.
The one who still wants the music too loud.
The one who remembers exactly who she was before “appropriate” became a fucking personality trait.
The one who can’t keep the unvarnished version of her self hidden one more damn day.
She CRAVES evidence that she is still in there.
I’m here to GIVE YOU that EVIDENCE.
I’m Eryn.
I photograph women with teeth.
Untethered. Unapologetic. Uniquely HER.
The messy, sensual, rebellious parts they were taught to hide.
I make art out of women who refuse to disappear.
Weathered. Wilder. Unvarnished. ALIVE.
WHY DO WOMEN HAND ME THE PARTS THEY DON’T SHOW ANYONE ELSE?
I’ve been told over and over again: “You’re too much.”
I am UNAPOLOGETICALLY tired of letting that define my world—and OUR world.
So I built my art around the world we actually want to cultivate. And then I make it visible.
I’ve spent the last 15+ years learning how to see people—not just photograph them.
I’m an artist, a creature of source, and a woman who has spent my career exploring identity, the body, transformation, and all the strange places where those things collide.
I tried for YEARS to fit myself into the mold they told me I had to squeeze into.
Stay sweet.
Stay kind.
Stay agreeable.
Don’t be too loud. Don’t be too much.
What did it get me?
I ALWAYS FELT EMPTY.
Detached from myself.
From Source.
From HER.
So I built a world where I knew I could never feel that emptiness again.
A world rooted in truth, creativity, connection, rebellion, and radical self-expression.
But at the foundation of it all?
Your unapologetically magical-as-fuck self.
The wildness.
The truth.
The gritty, unfiltered aliveness.
I’ve photographed women
underwater.
In darkness.
In vulnerability.
In power.
In the moments where the rules about how a woman is supposed to look completely fall apart.
And somewhere along the way, I realized something:
The women I’m most interested in aren’t the ones who need to be made beautiful.
They need to be seen.
And to truly be seen?
You have to be willing to be challenged.
Challenged to stop performing the lesser version of you.
To stop editing.
To stop making yourself palatable.
To step outside the woman you became to survive—
and meet the woman who was there all along.
Feeling Alive is.
Every time you deleted the photograph because you decided your body was the problem.
Every time you said, “Maybe when I lose ten pounds.”
Every time you chose the sensible thing when you wanted the wild one.
Every time you looked at an old photograph and realized the woman you once criticized was fucking gorgeous.
Every year you promised yourself that someday you’d stop caring what everyone else thought.
That bill has already been collecting.
Not in dollars.
In years.
Edge of HER is a photographic experience for Gen X women who built the damn life and are bored as hell with being reduced to the respectable version of themselves.
This is not dress-up.
It is not a makeover.
It is not an afternoon spent pretending to be someone more interesting.
We build the session around your actual mythology—the music, the texture, the contradiction, the stories, the sensuality, the weird shit, the history, the things you stopped explaining years ago.
Together we design imagery that feels less like:
“That’s a beautiful photograph of me.”
and more like:
“There you fucking are.”
Design Consultation
We start with you—not a Pinterest board full of somebody else’s personality. We talk about what’s been buried, what still has teeth, and what visual world belongs to this version of you.
Portrait Creation
I direct the entire experience. You do not need to know what to do with your hands. That is quite literally my job.
The Reveal
You see the work with me. Not tossed into an online gallery for you to quietly judge alone at 11:47 p.m.
We choose the photographs that carry the story and decide how you want them preserved as finished artwork.
THE INVESTMENT IS CUSTOMIZED AROUND WHAT YOU ACTUALLY NEED.
How deeply do you want to go?
What do you want these photographs to say?
What part of yourself have you been starving for evidence of?
Do you want a few extraordinary pieces?
Do you want to create a body of work?
Do you want statement artwork on your walls?
Do you want an experience that gives you permission to go somewhere visually you haven't gone before?
Those answers matter.
So does how you want to experience the finished work.
That's why the best way to understand your investment isn't to scroll through a pricing menu.
It's to get on a 1:1 call with me.
BOOK YOUR 1:1 EDGE OF HER CALL
We'll talk.
I'll listen.
I'll guide.
And together we'll design the experience that brings her all the way into the frame.
You see it in photographs.
Technically, she looks good.
Hair: good.
Makeup: good.
Smile: good.
And you feel absolutely fucking nothing.
Because you recognize your face.
You just don’t recognize yourself.
That isn’t an aging problem.
It isn’t a confidence problem.
And for the love of god, it is not because you need to learn how to pose better.
It’s what happens when you’ve spent years becoming exceptionally good at being the woman everyone could handle.
You learned to sand it down.
You learned which parts of you made people uncomfortable.
Too intense.
Too opinionated.
Too emotional.
Too ambitious.
Too sexual.
Too weird.
Too loud.Too much.
So you became extraordinarily capable.
You learned how to walk into the room without frightening
anyone with the full voltage of who you are.
You learned how to smile for the photo.
You learned how to choose the flattering outfit.
You learned how to stand at the correct angle.
You learned how to make yourself beautiful without making yourself dangerous.
And after enough years of doing it?
That version starts looking normal.
Not the acceptable version.
Not a younger version.
Not some ridiculous attempt to prove you’ve “still got it.”
You already own that shit.
EDGE OF HER is a portrait experience built around the part of you that never became domesticated.
The grit.
The sensuality.
The humor.
The rebellion.
The scars.
The appetite.
The years you earned.
The part of you that understands now—finally—that perfection was always far less interesting than truth.
I am not here to manufacture her.
I am here because I know how to recognize her when she walks into the room.
And then I photograph the evidence.
The women who work with me are the ones who have forgotten just how untethered and interesting they already are.
And somehow, they remember her before they ever step in front of my lens.
So when you sit in front of my camera, I’m not going to hand you a pose and tell you to smile.
I don’t direct poses. I provoke presence.
I’m not here to make you comfortable. I’m here to make you insatiably curious about yourself.
I’m going to ask questions.
I’m going to listen.
I’m going to notice the things you almost didn’t say.
And then I’m going to build photographs around HER.
The woman clawing her way out.
The one you were told couldn’t exist inside of success.
The one who is too wild, too sensual, too strange, too loud, too alive to fit neatly into the life you built.
That’s the woman I know how to photograph.
That’s the part nobody puts on the brochure.
There will always be another reason to wait.
Another five pounds.
Another project.
Another family obligation.
Another quarter.
Another birthday.
Another version of “when things calm down.”
They won’t.
And you already know that.
They were wrong about what it was worth.
And they were catastrophically fucking wrong if they thought the most interesting parts of you were supposed to disappear once you became successful, responsible, respectable, or older.
Those parts survived.
Good.
I want to photograph them.
You’ve already done the proving.
You have built something—career, company, family, reputation, life—and success did not magically make you less hungry for yourself.
You have zero interest in photographs designed to make you look twenty years younger.
You want texture over perfection.
Truth over pretty.
Art over content.
You can appreciate beauty without needing it sanitized.
And you are profoundly unequivocally bored with being photographed like every other woman on the internet.
You want three quick digitals and to get out the door.
You want heavy retouching to erase the evidence that you have lived.
You are looking for someone to tell you exactly which version of femininity is currently acceptable.
You need the photographs to make everyone else comfortable.
Or you are still committed to waiting until you become some imaginary future version of yourself before you allow the woman who exists now to take up the frame.
YOUR EDGE OF HER EXPERIENCE ISN’T OFF THE SHELF.
There is no standard EDGE OF HER package.
Because there is no standard woman sitting across from me.
You have your history.
Your contradictions.
Your scars.
Your stories.
Your particular brand of dangerous.
And the experience we create together should reflect you—not a predetermined collection someone decided every woman needs.
That means I don't want to hand you a price list and tell you to pick a box.
I want to talk to you.
LET'S FIGURE OUT WHAT SHE NEEDS.
The call isn't a sales pitch.
It's where I get to know the woman behind the polished version.
We'll talk about what brought you here, what you're craving, what you've been putting off, and what you want this experience to give back to you.
I'll guide you through the possibilities and help you determine what makes sense for your EDGE OF HER experience—including the photography, the artwork, and the level of creative direction you actually need.
You don't need to arrive knowing what you want.
That's my job.
You just need to be willing to tell me the truth.
Because somewhere underneath the woman who built the empire, raised the kids, handled the shit, survived the hard years, and became exceptionally good at keeping everything together...
there is still a woman who knows exactly how powerful she is.
She may just need someone who knows how to see her.
